[Save the Date] Shanghai Mentor Walks: 2018 Kick-off Walk

Online registration for this event is not available.

The popular Shanghai Mentor Walks return for 2018 and the kick-off walk will be hosted on 10 March at the M on the Bund.

The British Chamber Shanghai, has joined up again with AmCham, AustCham, IPWS and M on the Bund, to introduce this monthly Mentor Walks programme to our communities in Shanghai.

The programme brings together established women leaders and emerging women leaders in our community for a morning walk to discuss professional and personal successes, challenges and aspirations. Mentees have the incredible opportunity to seek advice from seasoned professionals who will provide an open ear, honest feedback and meaningful guidance.

About Mentor Walks

A typical walk includes one Mentor and three to five Mentees. Mentees have the incredible opportunity to seek advice from seasoned professionals who will provide an open ear, honest feedback and meaningful guidance.

Our Mentors come from a diverse array of backgrounds and industries including: international business, international development and foreign affairs, law, finance and banking, architecture and design, marketing, media and public relations, IT and technology, energy and the environment, non-profit and CSR, hospitality and health. If you would like to serve as a Mentor at a future Mentor Walk, please contact Aria.Wang@britishchambershanghai.org.

Our Mentees are emerging professionals from an equally diverse range of fields. They are not high school or university students, but rather professionals making their mark in the working world. Whether they have just started their careers or have been working for several years, Mentees are looking for inspiration from Mentors who have successfully navigated the business landscape in China. Mentees also include entrepreneurs who are looking for professional guidance from other enterprising women who have successfully launched their own ventures.

No-show Policy: Please note that space is limited and granted on a first-come, first-served basis. If you register and are unable to attend, please inform us at least one day in advance of the scheduled Mentor Walk. We understand that emergencies happen, however, if cancellations without notice are given on two occasions, we will be unable to accommodate your registration in the future.
