This workshop aims to help marketers in B2C and B2B companies to answer the questions that has long been obsessing them since the very beginning of WeChat.

  • Is WeChat the right business tool for your company?
  • What are the best practices of WeChat for business?
  • WeChat’s possibilities in marketing, sales and operations.
  • How to convince your management to invest in WeChat?

This workshop will look at a set of statistics from Tencent on the usage of WeChat in business environment to prove that WeChat is more than a social networking tool used among social connections, but also a useful business tool that is widely used in China among business professionals. 

It will outline some practical tips of how to make sure your WeChat strategy can be a success for your companies, followed with many case studies in marketing, sales and operations. The workshop will also address the data security concerns many companies have over the use of WeChat for business.

There will also be a small group discussion to exchange ideas of WeChat improvements for your company by the end of the workshop.

Sheng has over 15 years of experience in digital marketing in the London and China across the e-commerce, SEO, SEM and social media marketing. He has a master’s degree in e-Commerce from the University of Warwick. He is a certified Google Adwords and Analytics Professional, and an active public speaker on Wechat, Chinese e-commerce, Baidu SEO and SEM, digital media buying in China.
