The Legal Focus Group of the British Chamber of Commerce Shanghai, will host an afternoon skills training session aimed at enhancing oral and written communication skills of legal professionals for use in an increasingly demanding professional environment. Professional skills trainer, Rochelle Kwok, and two senior lawyers from member firm Linklaters, will lead a 2-hour session which seeks to equip inhouse legal and compliance professionals with the tools and techniques to build sustainable and long-term relationships with colleagues and clients.

Communicating with impact - Remember the last presentation you attended: was it excellent or just a waste of your time? Some people think that delivering outstanding presentations is a matter of talent – in fact, it just involves following a few, simple rules. In this session, our trainers will discuss the key tips that any presenter can use to make a real impression on their audience.

Effective drafting and written communication - We deal with hundreds of emails and documents every day, so we all spend hours reading and writing – yet rarely pause to think about how to do it most effectively. In this session our trainers will explain how you can draft more clearly and examine the core elements of effective written communication.

This exclusive event is open to inhouse legal and compliance staff working at British Chamber member companies and other non-professional firms.
