In an ideal world, you’d get offered the salary you want straight away, but if you’ve been working or job hunting for a while, you know that very few people receive their perfect offer first time. Usually you have to ask for what you want, justify your value, and hope that the company you’re negotiating with has the bandwidth deliver your expectations.

The British Chamber Shanghai's Women in Business Focus Group is pleased to welcome all professional women to the next "Think on Your Feet: Skills for the Workplace" seminar.

British Chamber Shanghai member Julia Polyakova, Account Executive with FESCO Adecco Human Resource Services in China, will lead you through a workshop to help you deploy the approaches for you to Negotiate Your Financial Worth. Remember this is not necessarily limited to salary but refers to the complete compensation package.

Objectives of the Workshop

  • Overcome challenges and fear of salary negotiation
  • Recognise the signposts & signals in the negotiation
  • Collaborate with the negotiator not confrontation
