Mei Shui is the Managing Director of Virgin Start Up, a not-for-profit organisation funded by Sir Richard Branson which provides funding, business advice, mentoring and other forms of support to help entrepreneurs to start and grow their businesses. Before joining Virgin to set up and run Virgin Start Up, Mei was the Deputy Chairmen then Executive Director of the Start-up Loans Company. Her former roles also included Head of Protocol at London Organising Committee of Olympic & Paralympic Games, Head of Enterprise at The Prince’s Trust managing the Trust’s flagship Business Programme providing finance and on-going support to over 8,000 businesses across the UK annually.
